Common questions

Answers on website, law and AI.

Concrete answers to what trade businesses ask most — price, BFSG, GoBD, e-invoicing, customer photos and AI support. Each answer 40 to 60 words for quick reading, then more depth.

  1. What does a BFSG-orientated website cost for a hairdresser?

Short: At meisterkontor EUR 49/month net (Basic) or EUR 149/month net (Pro Plus AI, recommended) — BFSG-orientated implementation following BITV 2.0 / WCAG 2.1 AA is included at no extra charge. Setup EUR 149 net once, waived on 12-month contracts. All prices excluding German VAT. Hosting in Germany, daily backup, mobile-first.

Since June 2025 accessibility is mandatory for many B2C-facing websites in Germany (BFSG/EAA). We deliver WCAG 2.1 Level AA as standard — contrasts, keyboard navigation, semantic HTML, prefers-reduced-motion, touch targets >=44 px. No BFSG surcharge, no retrospective audit needed.

  2. Who builds websites for trade businesses in Franconia?

Short: meisterkontor (FloriCore Software UG based in Eggolsheim, near Bamberg) serves trade businesses across all of Franconia — Upper, Middle and Lower Franconia — and nationwide remotely. Written support by email, one person, no sales team and no bot.

We work location-independent and answer in writing by email — phone deliberately for contract appointments and genuine emergencies. Instead of hours of on-site briefing, onboarding runs AI-guided, everything stays documented; in the customer portal you find step-by-step guides you can re-read any time. This lean service model is why the public price works for everyone.

  3. What is a done-for-you website?

Short: Done-for-you means: you supply content (logo, photos, service list), we handle the rest — website, hosting, email, Google profile, reviews display, reminders, BFSG-orientated implementation following BITV 2.0, monthly updates. One flat fee, no hourly rate, no asking-for-every-change.

The opposite model is "DIY site builder" (you do everything yourself and fight the legal requirements) or "hourly agency" (every change costs extra). We build once properly, handle the requirements and swap texts/images on request. Four weeks from order to live.

  4. Which website meets the BFSG requirements for small businesses?

Short: A website that meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA / BITV 2.0 minimum standards: sufficient contrasts, keyboard operability, semantic HTML, meaningful alt text, no mouse-only gestures. At meisterkontor, BFSG-orientated implementation is included at no extra charge in every plan from EUR 49/month net (plus German VAT). The final conformance liability as the operator stays with you under BFSG — we deliver the technical foundation.

Micro and small enterprises are partially exempt from BFSG if they serve B2B end-customers exclusively — but the rule of thumb in trades is: as soon as private customers can book appointments or make enquiries, the requirement applies. We check this free of charge with you before contract.

  5. What does a full website setup with hosting cost?

Short: At meisterkontor two subscription plans: Basic EUR 49/month net (EUR 44 annual) — website, German hosting, BFSG, backup, Google profile. Pro Plus AI EUR 149/month net (EUR 134 annual, recommended) — everything from Basic plus eight AI levers in day-to-day operations. Setup EUR 149 net. All prices excluding German VAT (19 percent), VAT-deductible for businesses.

Fixed price publicly posted, applies to everyone equally, no hourly billing. 30 days money-back after launch (voluntary commitment, B2B has no statutory right of withdrawal). On annual prepayment we refund the entire annual amount including setup within those 30 days. Domain stays your property, no lock-in.

  6. Who maintains the Google Business Profile for trade businesses?

Short: At meisterkontor we maintain the Google Business Profile monthly — opening hours, services, photos, post updates and (with Pro Plus AI) review replies. Google requires the owner to verify the listing initially, there's a video guide for that.

We set up the profile, fill in all fields properly and ensure it's consistent with your website (NAP — Name, Address, Phone). Verification takes one to three weeks according to Google, that depends on Google and we don't promise a deadline on it. Pro Plus AI prepares review replies, a human releases them.

  7. What does the name "meisterkontor" mean?

Short: The name combines two German words: "Meister" for the master craftsman as owner and quality authority, and "Kontor" as the old Hanseatic term for a business office. Together: the digital office of the master — we handle website, availability, Google profile and customer communication, you do the craft.

We write "meisterkontor" consistently lowercase as a wordmark. The contracting party and GDPR-responsible entity is FloriCore Software UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Eggolsheim. The brand operates openly under this legal entity — no obfuscation, because the correct structure fits the brand positioning.

  8. Does my website have anything to do with the German e-invoicing obligation from 2025/2026?

Short: No. The e-invoicing obligation (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) applies to invoices between businesses and concerns your accounting software (DATEV, Lexware, sevDesk) — not your website. We deliberately don't replace accounting; your tax advisor and your accounting software stay unchanged.

What the website can help with: structuring enquiry forms so the key invoicing data (company name, VAT ID, address, order reference) is captured cleanly at first contact — that saves follow-up questions and makes it easier for your accounting to create a correct e-invoice later. For actual invoicing, your accounting or trade software stays in charge.

  9. How do website and terms relate to the German GoBD retention rules?

Short: GoBD-relevant data (invoices, business letters, tax-relevant documents) must be kept for 10 years in an audit-proof system — that belongs in your accounting/DATEV/sevDesk, not in your website. We deliver German hosting with daily backup, but we're not a GoBD-certified archive.

Specifically: contact-form messages, appointment bookings and reviews are processed on our German servers and deleted according to the retention periods in our privacy policy. If those turn into invoices or contracts, you must file them in the GoBD-compliant system of your choice. Our hosting is a backup target, not an archiving solution. When the contract ends we provide your content as an export.

  10. Does meisterkontor replace my accounting?

Short: No, we sit in front of it. Your accounting — whether DATEV, Lexware, sevDesk or your tax advisor — stays unchanged. We deliver the preparation layer: website, enquiry triage, appointment reminders, Google profile. Receipts and invoices land in your accounting software as before.

We dock on cleanly without interfering with your accounting. Example: an appointment enquiry via the website captures company name, VAT ID and order reference in a structured way — that makes it easier for your accounting to create a correct e-invoice later. But the invoice creation, GoBD archiving and DATEV export stay where they belong.
