Accessibility statement

We build every site with accessibility in mind from day one, orientated towards the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA. At no extra cost.

As of: May 2026

Scope

This statement applies to meisterkontor.de and to the websites we build for customers.

Orientated towards WCAG 2.1 AA.

FloriCore Software UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is committed to making meisterkontor.de and the websites we build for customers accessible, orientated towards the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), the European standard EN 301 549, and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

BFSG (Germany's transposition of the European Accessibility Act) has been binding for many websites in Germany since June 2025. We build every site with accessibility in mind from day one, at no extra cost. "Orientated" means we align our implementation with BITV 2.0 minimum standards and WCAG 2.1 AA — not claiming formal certification without independent audit.

Standards

Aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA, EN 301 549, BITV 2.0. BFSG binding since June 2025.

What we have concretely put in place.

  • Semantic HTML structure with heading hierarchy and landmarks (header, main, nav, section, article, aside, footer)
  • Sufficient colour contrast — body ink on parchment roughly 14:1, well above WCAG AA
  • Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements, visible focus markers with a 2 px accent outline
  • Meaningful alt text for images, ARIA labels for icon-only buttons
  • Skip link "Skip to content" at the top of every page
  • Touch targets of at least 44 pixels
  • No reliance on colour alone: table markers include word indicators
  • Responsive layout from 375 pixels width
  • Body font size from 16 pixels on mobile, 18 pixels on desktop — fluidly scaled
  • Scroll animations respect prefers-reduced-motion
  • Self-hosted fonts — no external tracker, no Google Fonts CDN
  • Correct language attribute (lang="de" or lang="en") for screen readers

What's still open.

The following content is not yet fully accessible for the reasons given:

  • Founder photo: Currently the page shows a typographic placeholder instead of a photo. Once the photo arrives we'll add meaningful alt text.
  • 3D browser mock-up on the homepage: The mock-up shows an example website. The mock-up content is described via aria-label; a full text equivalent of the depicted example isn't included.
